Senior Pastor
Pastor Don and Narda Burnett have served North American Baptist congregations for 25 years. Don attended Westmont College, Dallas Theological Seminary and Fuller Theological Seminary. Narda is a graduate of Point Loma College/University.
Don’s spiritual gifting is expressed in speaking and wisdom. Narda’s gifts are expressed in mercy and helping ministries.
They are excited about the passion evident in the congregation for the communities around Evergreen Community Church.
Don and Narda have three children. Erin and their grandchildren live in North Hollywood. Daniel is in Bolivia for several years serving as a Peace Corps volunteer. Hannah is a student at Liberty High School.
Associate Pastors

Rev. Phil Kirsch is a graduate of Lindbergh High School, the University of Washington and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon. During his college years, Phil worked with youth and music at Highlands Community Church, Preston Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Monroe, Washington. Phil served Evergreen as pastor from 1982 to 2002 and continues to lead the Worship Team. During the week, he manages computers dedicated to HIV research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Phil and his wife, Jennifer have 3 daughters.

Rev. Allan Strohschein is a graduate of the University of Alberta and North American Baptist Seminary, Sioux Falls, S. Dak. He has served as senior pastor in churches in the mid-west as well as in the Pacific N.W.. His Sunday talks are Bible based and related to contemporary issues that people face today.
